End of the 2011 season

Hi everyone,

Here we are, the 2011 season end up at the final of the Italian Championship last weekend in Borno in the region of Bergamo.

The first day was really good, a good battle with Mika Ahola and  I got second place only few seconds behind.

Mika could celebrate his title Saturday night and He dicided not to race the next day due to a little injury on his foot, so I was motivated to get my first win on Sunday but a big mistake in the Extrem test got me in the fourth place but still finish first in E1 and second scratch overall of the weekend.

This season is the best one since my beginning in Enduro Racing.

-  2nd French Championship
-  1st Italian Championship E1 and 2nd scratch

-  4th Enduro World Championship

I am just a little disappointed not to be on the podium at the World Championship but no excuses the top three were better, congratulation to Juha Salminen, Ero Remes and Matti Seistola.


I would like to thank ereybody who help me this season to race in the best conditions,

-  First my Fiancé Yvonne and Eric Berton, there are always here for me, in the best and the bad moments for many years already.

I will have a busy month of November, I prepare the birth of my daughter LORELEY who should be born the 18, the Enduro Indoor of Milano the 10,  the Supercoss of Milano the 12 and the Enduro Indoor of Genova on the 26.
Yes!!! I will race Supercross but without goal, JUST FOR FUN...

Résumé de fin de saison 2011

Bonjour a toutes et a tous,



Voila, la saison 2011 viens de s´achever le week end dernier en Italie a Borno dans la région de Bergamo.
La premiere journée s´est trés bien passé, aprés une grosse bagarre toute la journée avec Mika Ahola, je termine seulement a quelques secondes en deuxiéme posotion scratch et premier E1.
Mika étant Champion ne prendra pas le départ le lendemain suite a une petite blessure au talon, donc je comptais bien sur une premiere victoire au scratch mais une grosse erreur dans l´Extrem Test dans l´avant dernier tour a ruiné toutes mes chances, je termine donc quatrieme de la journée, deuxieme scratch du week end et premier E1.

Cette saison aura été une des meilleures depuis mes début en Enduo.

-  Vice Champion de France E1,
-  Champion d´Italie en E1 et deuxiéme scratch,
-  4° du Championnat du monde

La seule chose ou je suis un peu decu c´est de ne pas avoir terminé sur le podium au Mondial mais les autres ont été meilleur, pas d´excuses! Félicitation a Juha Salminen, Ero Remes et Matti Seistola.

Je voudrais en profiter pour remercier toutes les personnes qui ont été a mes cotés et qui m´ont permis de réaliser tout ces résultats.

-  En premier, ma Fiancé Yvonne et Eric Berton, qui ont toujours été la pour moi, dans les bons et les pires moments depuis maintenant plusieurs saisons.

-  Mon Mécanicien Antonia Specia.

-  Moto-Station, Elie Vecchi, Yves Rodes, Honda HM Euroboost et Michel Merel sans eux je n´aurais pas pu participer au Championnat de France cette année.

-  Patrice Garcia et Nicolas Gosset qui m´ont aidé pour la finale du Championnat de France d´enduro.

Et oui un petit retour en SX de prévu mais juste pour le plaisir et sans aucun objectifs!!!

Training

Bonjour a tous, quelques photos de mes entrainements en Allemagne ou le clima est meilleur pour rouler dans des conditions humide.
Des belles spéciales en herbe et dans des forets pleines de racines et de cailloux glissants.
Retour dans le Vaucluse fin de semaine pour préparer le voyage du prochain EWC (Enduro World Championship) qui va se dérouler en Andorre. Départ Lundi pour pouvoir repérer les spéciales dés Mardi.

Hello, some pictures from my training in Germany where the weather is better to ride in slippery conditions mixed with Grass, Forest, Roots and Stones. I will be back home at the end of the week to prepare the travel for the next EWC next week end in Andorra. Monday I will be on the way to be able to walk the Special Test already on Tuesday.
