Testing in Spain

Last Sunday I arrived in the near of Girona, where my Teammate Mika Ahola lives, to make some testing and training with the team.

Monday we went on a MX track to make some changes on the suspensions.

Tuesday we went on a nice private track, it was a mix of cross, enduro and extreme. It was really nice.

I got to see how my speed was with my HM 250 CRF-E, my laptimes were really good.

This day was more training then testing.

Wednesday we went early in the morning on a Killer- MX- Track near the airport of Girona. It was a blast. The track was awesome and the dirt was really good also.

I got to test different stuff with REKLUSE and with JD Racing Ignition.

It was good to hang out with the team. Thank you to Tullio for coming all the way from Italy and the Rekluse crew.

Now I am back home, I will end this week with few days of riding.

Next week I will take a week off in the snow.

Le calendrier des épreuves du Championnat de France d’Enduro 2011 est désormais officiel. 5 manches rythmeront cette saison qui débutera dans le Doubs le 16 Avril et connaitra son épilogue dans la cité auvergnate du Puy-en-Velay le 25 Septembre.

Winter training with Enduro French Team

Hi everybody!

I arrived on Monday afternoon for a week of hardcore training with the French Enduro Team at Font Romeu, a little ski station in the Pyrénée.

Tuesday we started with  one and half hour of swimming, two hours of body building and after lunch we went for a little walk of two and half hours through the mountain. Then we had a two hours sky skating- lesson and racing games! It was really funny.

After dinner we had our ritual Volleyball game and Stretching.

 

Today Wednesday, we started for a long tour with raquette shoes, SEVEN hours. We climbed until 2700 meters high and we crossed two dangerous walls, with frozen snow- very steep and deep, one wrong move and it would be a catastrophe!!! there was no place for a small mistake...

Thursday: 6:30am in the swimming pool for 1000 meters of warm up then we played Water Polo.

It's the first time I was doing it , it's a intense sport, you have to keep swimming non stop, be focus on the ball and fight to keep it!

After breakfast we went directly for couple hours in the body building room and finish this first part of the day with stretching.

Little "SIESTA" after lunch to start the second part...





The end of the week was very intense with swimming, body building, badminton, Volley Ball and of course skiing.

Friday and Saturday we went all around the ski station and all the way up the sky tracks.

We was the only ones going up with the ski!!! and at night we went Bowling and drink a Beer to celebrate Chritohe Nambotin Birthday.

Now I'm back home for a quiete week end with my Fiançé and I will go back on the bike Monday.
